IBM ha publicat una guia de monitorització de sistemes Linux anomenada «Linux Performance and Tuning Guidelines». Tracta sobre els diversos aspectes del sistema que cal monitoritzar per tal de garantir la disponibilitat dels sistemes així com les modificacions que es poden fer a la configuració per obtenir el màxim rendiment.
